Dornoch has a beautiful clean and never ending beach for bathing or walking, a much visited cathedral and many places to eat, offering good value food. There are also some excellent areas for cycling.

Dornoch is also the gateway to the North Highlands and Islands, with day trips to Orkney possible from here. The northern tips of Scotland can be reached in 2 hours.
